Lead capture, pipeline and CRM

Every enquiry in one place, with its whole history.

Enquiries arrive by phone, text, web form and lead ad, and half end up on a notepad. The leads board catches all of them and writes them into the CRM.

Every enquiry lands in one pipeline with its history and is written to the CRM the business runs.

What the agent does

Catches the lead, then keeps working it

The agent decides what counts as a lead from a plain-English rule the business writes, files it, and can follow it up on the business's behalf.

One list, every channel

Calls, website chat, texts, website forms, Facebook lead ads and LinkedIn lead forms all land in the same list. Beside each lead sits the whole call and text history for that number.

A plain-English lead rule

The business writes one sentence about what counts as a lead, and the agent applies it. A wrong number is not a lead. A quote request is.

Stages the business names

Five stages by default, with follow-up dates, deal value, tags and stale markers at three and seven days. A won lead becomes a client in the Directory automatically.

Automations that follow up

When a lead arrives, moves stage, goes quiet or is tagged: ring them, put them through a campaign, text, email, tag, or fire a webhook. Never outside business hours, never a do-not-call number.

Written into the CRM

The caller is recognised from the CRM before the call is answered. Afterwards the contact is created or updated and the transcript, summary and answers are logged against it.

Text from the board

A reply to a lead goes out from the pipeline itself, from the business's own number, and the answer lands back beside the lead. No switching apps.

How it goes for the caller

An enquiry, from first contact to won

  1. Somebody gets in touchThey ring, text, chat on the website, fill in a form or tap a lead ad, and the agent takes it.
  2. The lead is createdThe “create lead” rule says it counts, so it lands on the board with the conversation attached, and in the CRM.
  3. The follow-up happensAn automation rings them back within business hours, texts them, or hands them to a sales agent that books a demo.
  4. The deal movesStaff drag the lead across stages and stale markers nudge the quiet ones. A won lead becomes a client.

What the business gets

A pipeline, a CRM that is finally up to date, and no admin

Every enquiry on one board with the call recording, transcript and text thread beside it. The usual text and email summary within seconds of each call. Notifications into Slack, Microsoft Teams or any webhook when a lead arrives or moves.

For a business on HubSpot, GoHighLevel or Pipedrive, the contact is created or updated and the transcript, summary and answers logged. GoHighLevel has a guided setup and workflow-triggered calls with results posted back. A business on Trello gets a card per lead.

For a client on Fergus, an enquiry or quote request lands against the right customer. For a client with its own software, one REST API and webhooks carry leads, calls and text replies out, and a form endpoint brings leads in.

The pipeline and automations sit under every agent. The sales agent that qualifies and scores an enquiry has its own page; the campaigns an automation can run are under outgoing campaigns.

Sold through partners

The part of the product a client's sales team opens every day

For clients who already run a CRM, you sell the connection and the agent that keeps it current; for clients who run their pipeline from a spreadsheet, you sell the pipeline itself. You set the price; Talkgate runs the platform, the board, the automations and the CRM connectors. See the partner programme.
